Relationships Australia

Relationships Australia offers a variety of group programs to individuals, couples and families. We are offering groups in term 3, 2008. The groups will be held at Lane Cove, North Ryde or Neutral Bay.

We are hoping that, as these groups provide family support and could be useful in helping to meet the needs of your school community (and also because we are a non-profit organisation), you may consider the inclusion of this information in the next school newsletter free of charge.

If you would like more information please call me or Claudia on 8874 8000.

Languages Matter !

Through learning languages, we learn about culture. Through learning about culture, we learn respect for others. Through learning respect for others, we can hope for peace.

The slogan 'Languages Matter' is an apt reminder to us to celebrate and reflect on the value of languages education. By declaring 2008 the UN International Year of Languages, the United Nations has brought the importance and profile of languages into sharp focus, thereby 'recognising that genuine multilingualism promotes unity in diversity and international understanding' (UN Resolution GA/10592).
