Leaves NewsletterDEPUTY PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
This week has been an extremely busy one with year 10 students doing work experience,
year 8 students sitting for their ESSA Test, year 11 students gaining their Aus swim qualifications and year 9 students undertaking their Peer Support training and a group of students being
actively involved in a bricklaying course.
I am sure that the year 10 students have gained much over the past few weeks with the
excellent Crossroads program that has been provided to all students. I have seen the students enjoying such activities as, study skills, dancing, ‘All My Own Work’, self defence, and presentations from community organisations, to mention only a few.
I have also been lucky enough to be involved with the year 9 Peer Support Training and have been very proud of all the students and the maturity they have shown towards the program.
All these opportunities would not happen if it were not for the dedicated and hard working staff at The Forest High School. As Deputy Principal my job would also be so much more difficult without their support. The students at The Forest are lucky to have such devoted teachers and I know that they are all appreciative of their efforts.
