PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the year 12 class of 2009 for your hard work, dedication and commitment. This group has set a great example for junior students to follow. We wish you well in the HSC examinations.

The school captains for 2010 - Callum Bedos and Amy Power, completed their first official duties conducting the final year 12 celebration assembly with great success.

Term Dates

The last day for Term 3 is Friday 2 October. Term 4 commences for both teachers and students in NSW public schools on Monday 19 October. We wish you and your family a happy and safe school holidays.

P&C MEETINGS - TERM 4

CHANGES TO TERM 4 P&C and SCHOOL COUNCIL DATES

The P&C and School Council meeting dates for term 4 have changed to-

October 28th (not Oct 21)

November 25th (not Nov 18)

The December 16th meeting is cancelled.

 

As these are the last 2 meetings for the year I would urge you to make it a priority to be there as we wrap up the year.

Wanted for Band:

Would you like to "Go West" with the band tour?  Do you like to thump things, tend to drum on tables or click your pen annoyingly?

 
The band needs two or three percussionists to add some oomph and rhythms to our music.  You just need to be:
*  available to tour to western NSW from Monday 14 - Wed 16 December (cost TBC)
*  happy to rehearse with the band each Thursday afternoon (3.15-.15pm) term 4
*  eager to learn.

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED

Southern Cross Cultural Exchange is seeking volunteer host families to host international exchange students arriving in February 2010 for a stay of 5 months.

study habits?  careers?

AND WHAT FUN TEACHING HIM/HER ABOUT AUSTRALIAN CULTURE.

Carefully selected students will arrive February 2010 for 5 months from Europe, Japan
and the U.S.A. They will attend local secondary school, are fully insured and have
their own spending money
