Special Message For Year 10 Students (Careers Newsletter)
Don't forget that there is a compulsory work experience week during Week 6 of Term 4, 13 - 27 November. Please don't leave it to the last minute. I will be seeing Year 10 students early next term to give them the documents that must be filled in. The deadline for students to hand their documents in is 3pm sharp on the Friday, Week 3, Term 4 (November 6). There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Students who hand in their documents after this time will not be considered for work experience and will have to attend school for the week. Please be advised that I cannot extend this deadline as I need to fill in insurance documents. Also, students must get used to deadlines. I have had students in tears in my office because they have missed university and other important deadlines, and there is nothing I can do. If you have any questions about this work experience, you are welcome to email me on christopher.mansell@det.nsw.edu.au Please keep a lookout for the documents early next term. If you need them earlier, just come and see me.
